I think it’s there now. The new Sinister Locals album is 24 tracks and 48 minutes long.
The tracklist really seems to work and covers a huge range of moods. Harpsichords, mellotron, moogs, reverse tape effects all feature. Sad songs, playful songs, Samson’s song of sweet comeuppance, warped nursery rhymes, a song about secular eternal damnation, a bit of ivor cutlerism, scary songs including a horror story about Cardiff Bay, and even a song for soundtracking human sacrifice.
Hopefully it will be off to the factory in about 5 weeks time. Released end of June/early July.
